Today two new apps programmed by me (Marin Todorov) and designed by Nikolay Krustev are out in the App Store. They are both free apps so you can give them a try at no cost, I hope you’ll enjoy them.

Perpetual Calendar

The Perpetual Calendar app is a very simple and easy to use calendar application, which helps you to find quickly which day of the week a given date is.

Have you tried to do this with the default Calendar app by Apple? Skipping through months or years can be very annoying, the Perpetual Calendar on the other hand is very easy to use, just rotate the months disc and match the year you want – there you go, you have the week day. Literally you need to touch the screen once to get the week day. Perpetual Calendar is an iPad only application and it’s free.

Match Kana 2

Match Kana 2 extends the original Match Kana game and the game is now a universal application – you can enjoy it on both iPhone, iPod and iPad.

Match Kana 2 is a memory card game which helps you out in your Japanese studies, particularly on learning Hiragana and Katakana. It features also beginners mode specially for those of you with first language using latin alphabet. Match Kana 2 is a free universal application, I hope you’ll enjoy having it.

    Hi Marin,

Just installed the calendar app and I really love the virtuality of the rotating wheel!
The wooden design is a perfect fit forthe app.

When I shown this to my father, he was giving a try to know the day of his birthday.
    Unfortunately I can’t see the years 1950.

Am I missing something here ?

Hi Nirmal, i’m so glad you like this little app! Yeah for the moment the app works only for the near future – if we see there’s interest in the app, we’ll release soon an update to cover also the past and the distant future :)
